Conference and Conventions Sales Manager
Our growing Federal Government Conference and Convention Division is seeking an outgoing individual who possess high energy and high self-esteem to sell booth spaces and sponsorships to corporate IT companies.
Key result areas include maintaining and growing our current client base, prospecting and developing new customers and selling strategic sponsorship and booth packages. Candidates will contact customers by phone and in person.
Exceeding individual and team sales goals as well as providing a high level of customer service is essential. Candidate will utilize database to record and track sales.
Qualified candidates will be self starters who possess a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of three years in a successful sales position.
Experience should include entertaining clients and conducting outside sales calls with a proven track record in handling objections and closing sales.
This position requires a flexible schedule to travel and work at our events which will include some weekends (15% travel). Computer literacy is required. US Citizenship and a valid driver’s license is required.
