Parking The convention center has three main buildings – the West Building, the North Building and the South Building – with parking nearby.
Transportation Taxi Taxi terminal access is as follows: Terminal 2: North curbside, Terminal 3: North curbside and Terminal 4: Level 1, north curbside. The following taxis are contracted to pick up passengers at Phoenix Sky Harbor:
Rates remain the same regardless of company, number of passengers and number of bags. The first mile is $5. Each additional mile is $2.10. Each hour of a traffic delay is $21. The minimum fare is $15. Each per trip airport surcharge is $1. Rental cars Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport offers an array of options for car rental, hosting more than 10 major rental-car companies out of the airport’s convenient Rental Car Center. A rental-car shuttle serves all companies from the airport to the center, making it easy to get where you need to go — conveniently and hassle-free. Keep in mind that some car-rental companies do not have counters in the Rental Car Center. However, van pick-up for customers of those companies is available at the Rental Car Center as well, so regardless of your chosen rental company, one shuttle from the airport will get you on your way! Valley Metro Bus Service Frequent bus service is available between all three airport terminals and downtown Phoenix, served by Valley Metro’s Red Line route. Less than a half-hour bus ride from the airport, Valley Metro’s Central Station is a short walk to most downtown hotels and the convention center, and is also served by the Downtown DASH, a circulator shuttle that can drop you and your belongings just steps away from your final lodging destination. METRO Light Rail Take the FREE PHX Airport Shuttle to or from the 44th Street and Washington METRO light rail stop. The free shuttle, travels to all three terminals, was designed for travelers with luggage and mirrors the light rail schedule, running seven days per week.
A westbound/northbound light rail station is located south of the Phoenix Convention Center -Symphony Hall on Washington Street between Second and Third streets. An eastbound light rail station also is located south of the Phoenix Convention Center Symphony Hall on Jefferson Street between Third and Fourth streets. |
